Free Parking - A player whose tee shot lands within 10’ of the pin, is considered to have "parked it“ and will be awarded this tag. If multiple players get within the 10’ distance, the most recent player to throw and be inside 10’, will get the tag - even if one of the throws is closer. It’s important to play in order! This tag will pass to the next player who "parks it“ within 10’ of a pin. At the end of the round, the player holding this tag will get -1 for “Tags Score”.
Longest Putt – The player who makes the longest putt of the round, will earn the “Longest Putt” tag. Starting with the first hole, pace off the longest putt and award the tag. On future holes, long putts should be paced off and any putt that is a longer putt than previous efforts, will receive the Longest Putt Tag. At the end of round, the player who holds this tag will get -1 for “Tags Score”. This tag is not just for a putting-stroke-style of throw. This tag goes to the longest ‘throw-in’ (even if it’s from the tee).
Closest To The Pin – As setup for the round, players agree which hole will be used for the Closest To The Pin contest (we recommend you use the shortest hole on the back 9, but the group may choose a different hole, if agreed in advance). Winner is determined by pacing off the discs. Closest to the pin wins the tag. At the end of the round, the player who won the contest for the CTP tag will get -1 to “Tags Score”. This tag doesn’t change hands - it’s only for one hole.
